SwimProgress is a free app for Australian competitive swim families — on your phone (add it to your home screen) or the web. It turns published competition results into the things you check between meets: every PB and how much it has dropped, how your swimmer compares to the field, goals for each event, and alerts when new results are added — plus improvement trends and qualifying readiness.
Yes. SwimProgress works on your phone and the web, and you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app. Everything — PBs, comparisons, goals and alerts — works on mobile.
SwimProgress is free for families. Create an account with your email, link your swimmer, and the full family experience is available at no cost.
Your swimmer’s published race history is added automatically from published Australian competition results — you never type it in. Families can also add a private time manually if it is not published yet; those private entries stay on your swimmer’s profile and are not counted in the public benchmarks.
Each swimmer contributes their single best eligible time for an age, event and course, with age taken on race day and long and short course kept separate, over a rolling 24-month window. A benchmark is shown only once a group has at least 20 swimmers, so small groups are held back, and the figures describe the field only — no other swimmer is identified.
Yes. SwimProgress checks for new results after each competition and notifies you when your swimmer records a new time or a personal best — so you do not have to go looking.
Yes. Qualification readiness shows the exact gap between your swimmer’s best times and qualifying standards for each event, with a readiness indicator and upcoming meets to target.
Yes. Invite your partner or your swimmer’s coach with their own secure login, or share your swimmer’s progress with a link.
Yes. Families control their swimmer’s profile. Individual swimmer pages are private by design, and you can request removal at any time — details are in our Privacy Policy.
